Kayleigh McEnany, a former White House press secretary during Donald Trump’s first term and currently a host on Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” has announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Sean Gilmartin, due in June.
During the show’s conclusion on Monday, McEnany expressed her excitement, stating, “Last but not least … Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about.” She shared that the new addition will join their daughter Blake, aged 5, and son Nash, aged 2, this summer.
Reflecting on her experience, she remarked, “It’s very sweet. It’s been a special time. I’ve been pregnant during Christmas and Thanksgiving,” adding that her daughter Blake is already aware of the pregnancy and affectionately approaches her, saying, “Let me kiss the baby.”
Panelist Emily Compagno enthusiastically congratulated McEnany, saying, “We love you so much, congratulations to all now five of you. We’re so excited and thrilled.”
The 36-year-old mother-to-be clarified that her pink blazer was not indicative of the baby’s gender, highlighting her blue-and-pink shoes and a blue pacifier featured on a pink video banner that celebrated the announcement. She also displayed a sonogram of the baby, eliciting “oohs” and “ahhs” from the audience. The family has framed sonograms of all their children, which they proudly display on a mantle at home.
“We’re going to be doing a gender reveal,” McEnany stated. “The baby is due in June, so I hope you will join me on this journey. I will be live discussing this on social media and on the show. We’ll do a gender reveal here.” As a devout Christian, she included a biblical reference in her announcement, quoting Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.”
Addressing the audience, she emphasized, “It’s not just a message about my baby, it’s a message about all of you. That’s how much he loves us.”McEnany chuckled and sought her co-hosts’ approval to unfasten her blazer, which had become uncomfortably snug.
She began a relationship with Gilmartin, a former professional baseball pitcher who retired in 2022, in 2015, and they tied the knot in 2017. Initially working in broadcast media, she later took on the role of White House press secretary for President Trump from April 2020 until the conclusion of his first term in January 2021. She is among several former press secretaries who have transitioned to roles in cable and broadcast news.
Additionally, McEnany frequently serves as a substitute host for programs such as “The Five,” “Fox & Friends,” and the evening shows led by Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity.
