American Idol Made History by Bringing Carrie Underwood in as a Judge, But Social Media Is in Chaos

Carrie Underwood makes history as the first-ever “American Idol” winner to become a judge, debuting in season 23.

Joining Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, Underwood replaces Katy Perry, who left the show to focus on music and travel.
